About the Teachers’ Workshop
We offer an annual workshop for Teachers in Miami, working closely with the Miami-Dade County School Board, to offer a high-quality workshop that deepens opera understanding in South Florida’s educators. We provide teachers with valuable lessons in history, literature, theater, creative and critical writing, and music appreciation so they can incorporate opera education into their classrooms.
The workshop day includes presentations from accredited specialists and YPO’s Educator of Note winner, performances from Florida Grand Opera’s Young Artists, and a delicious lunch.
