YPO Founders

In 1956, Dr. Arturo di Filippi, the man who was responsible for bringing opera to Miami, approached a group of young women and asked them to form an opera support group. Thus became the Young Patronesses of the Opera. Many outstanding women have played important roles in our organization through the years. Yet, three of our pioneers stand out! Learn more about them below by clicking on each woman.
