Young Patronesses of the Opera Hosts a Silent Auction
Young Patronesses of the Opera is a thriving volunteer organization offering an array of opera education programs to our community. Due to the pandemic, YPO was unable to host its annual Gala, which brings together over 300 prominent members of our community each year to support the opera education programs they provide in our community.
“If there were ever a time where it has been proven that life is more bearable with art in it,” says YPO president Amal Solh Kabbani. “It’s now!”
But as they say, the show must go on. So YPO is offering a month-long silent auction to raise the necessary funds. An online auction is an opportunity to shop for the cause from the comfort of your own home.
Beginning now and ending late October, please peruse, at your leisure, the online catalog of items such as fine jewelry, art, travel experiences, fine houseware, and designer clothing like the Women Floral bubble hem coat of Italian Floral metallic brocade fabric donated by Judith Cabrera, a Miami luxury brand created by the Cuban fashion designer in 2018.
The event will close on October 31st, 2020. Your purchase will help maintain programs such as YPO’s In-School Opera, touching more than 12,000 elementary students in Miami-Dade, Monroe and Broward counties every year.
