Ypo Awards

Young Patronesses of the Opera has 3 Awards given each year.

• The Gold Star Award recognizes outstanding members who work behind the scenes.

• The Educator of Note Award, which recognizes outstanding elemenary or middle school music teachers in Miami-Dade County.

• The Shooting Star Award, which recognizes individuals outside of YPO who has demonstrated a lifetime commitment to opera and has made a major contribution in the field of opera education.
